Oggi giornata di trasferimento, con bus, traghetti e auto noleggiata, da Vancouver a Campbell River (nell' isola di Vancouver), dove domani abbiamo prenotato un giro in barca per vedere balene. Purtroppo il tempo è peggiorato e certamente anche domani non sarà il massimo: speriamo solo di vedere qualche orca senza inzupparci troppo...
Siamo sistemati in un albergo essenziale, ma pulito e carino, e ci sentiamo un po' come pionieri "alla fine del mondo civile" (così dicevano una volta di Campbell River, andando verso Nord sull' isola di Vancouver).

Today we just moved, by bus, ferry and rental car, from Vancouver to Campbell River (on Vancouver Island), where we are booked tomorrow for some whale watching. Unfortunately the weather has turned bad, and also tomorrow it won't certainly be ideal; let's just hope to see some killer whales without getting too wet...
We are lodged in a basic hotel, yet nice and clean, and we feel a bit like pioneers "at the end of the civil world" (so they used to say about Campbell River while going North on Vancouver Island).
