Alla scoperta di Vancouver - Discovering Vancouver

Qualche ulteriore informazione su Vancouver:

- tutti i taxi sono macchine ibride (bene);

- a differenza di quel che avevo letto prima, c' è un bel po' di gente che chiede elemosina in giro (male);

- c' è un bel campus universitario con uno stupendo museo antropologico, un giardino con rose ancora in piena fioritura e uno slogan che mi è piaciuto molto: "un luogo della mente", che condivido come visione di che cos' è un' Università, ancor più che un luogo fisico;

- per la prima volta ho visto un ristorante con "cucina himalayana".

Something more about Vancouver:

- all taxis are hybrid cars (good);

- although I had read differently before, there are quite a few beggars around (bad);

- there is a nice University Campus with a wonderful anthropologic museum, a still fully blooming rose garden and a slogan I liked much: "a place of mind", which is what I also think a University should be, more than a physical place;

- for the first time I have seen a restaurant with "Himalayan cuisine".
